Although QuickHelp isn’t available as a desktop application, users can add it to their desktops as a progressive web app (PWA). In this article, we’ll go over how individual users can install QuickHelp as a PWA, as well as provide resources for admins to deploy the shortcut across their organization.

A PWA is essentially a shortcut from a user’s desktop directly to a website in app form, so adding QuickHelp as a PWA will give your users even easier access to QuickHelp.

In addition to easier access, PWAs have several other noteworthy benefits, including

  • Native, app-like experience
  • Accessibility in offline and low-network conditions
  • Adaptability to each user’s screen size
  • Secure network environment

Desktop PWAs are supported on chromium-based servers, so you’ll need to use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
